Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. — A Singapore-based subsidiary of Diversified Communications has sold its three-conference portfolios in the human resources technology space to LRP Publications.

LRP announced Jan. 22 that it had acquired HRM Asia Pte Ltd from Diversified. LRP will add HRM Asia and added its trio of conferences and other assets to its own events for HR professionals to its Asia portfolio. The newly acquired conferences are:

  • HR Summit & Expo
  • Smart Workforce Summit
  • HRM Asia Congress Series
  • HRM Magazine and its annual HRM Readers’ Choice Awards.

LRP publishes Human Resource Executive Magazine and organizes the HR Technology Conference & Exposition in Las Vegas and the HR Tech China Conference held in Shanghai. “The Asia-Pacific region is a prime source of business growth,” said Kenneth Kahn, President of LRP Publications and LRP Conferences. “It is also a region that has been at the forefront of HR technology trends, especially in its adoption of mobile technologies. HRM Asia has been influential in providing this community with relevant thought leadership.”

Terms of the transaction were not immediately announced although HRM Asia will continue to operate under its current brand.

The acquisition of HRM Asia was the second transaction between LRP and Diversified in recent years. In 2015, LRP acquired Recruiting Trends Conference, an annual event held in Las Vegas, from Diversified.
